Desenzano del Garda

The 'capital of Lake Garda', this is how Desenzano is called because of its size but also because of the majesty of its panorama, climate and extraordinary flora. Situated on the southern shore of the lake and surrounded by moraine hills, this town of Roman origin is easily accessible thanks to various connections and has always been an extraordinary holiday resort chosen by both Italian and foreign tourists.

The view from the Desenzano shore allows one to enjoy a lake, hill and even mountain panorama at the same time, thanks to the presence, on the northern shore, of the mountain complex of the Dolomites. The hills that follow the contours of Desenzano offer vegetation that is a succession of colours and scents thanks to the olive trees, vines, lemons and all the typical plants of the area: from this extraordinary nature come excellent products such as oil and wine that are now a must on Italian and international tables.

Desenzano, however, is also art, culture, and events. For young people in search of night-time thrills, there are clubs, discos and beach parties, but there is no lack of attractions and entertainment even for the youngest visitors: about twenty minutes away are theme parks such as Gardaland, Caneva World, Movieland or the Parco Giardino Sicurtà, considered among the most extraordinary in the world.

For the more sporty, sports such as windsurfing, sailing, free flight, nature trails on mountain bikes or wine and food tours to discover the 'goodies' of the area. How can we fail to mention the health-beauty aspect? The nearby thermal baths will allow you to enjoy extraordinary moments of relaxation and wellbeing dedicated to yourself to recover from your winter exertions... in short, you will be spoilt for choice.

Of course, there are many proposals, but even a simple night walk along the illuminated lakefront will be an extraordinary image that you will take with you forever.
